Plumbers required in London!

We are currently on the lookout for Plumbers to join our valued client, who are a general contractor specialising in M&E works onHigh End Residential projects across London. You will be overseeing small teams of plumbers on site, motivating them and leading by example, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the scope of the contract.

Due to the nature of the projects and the company, thisrole also requires close coordination with electricians and AC engineers, supporting one another to ensure smooth, efficient delivery of all services on site.

With this role, there are opportunities for both permanent and contract work depending on what it is you're looking for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out high-quality plumbing installations on high-end residential projects.
  • Lead, supervise, and support teams of plumbers on site.
  • Read, interpret, and work from drawings, specificationsand schedules.
  • Ensure all works meet the required high-end finish and quality standards.
  • Plan daily and weekly workloads to meet programme targets.
  • Set clear targets for your team and ensure they are achieved.
  • Communicate progress updates, delays, and risks to the project management team.
  • Identify material requirements in advance and coordinate orders to avoid delays.
  • Work collaboratively with electricians and air conditioning engineers, assisting whererequired to ensure overall project success.
  • Maintain good communication across all trades on site.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping, and site conduct.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Plumbing Engineer on residential or high-end residential projects.
  • Experience leading or supervising small teams of plumbers.
  • Strong ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  • Understanding of M&E coordination and sequencing on site.
  • High attention to detail and appreciation of luxury finish requirements.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and hit agreed targets.
  • Confident communicator with site management and wider M&E teams.

Qualifications

  • Recognised plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
  • CSCS card (required)
  • SSSTS or supervisory training (desirable but not essential)
