GSL Education are recruiting Exam Invigilators to join a welcoming school in Long Sutton with an immediate start. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, detail-orientated, and available to support students during this crucial period of their education.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the examination process, ensuring students sit their exams under the correct conditions and according to official regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up exam venues according to the school and exam board guidelines.
  • Distribute and collect exam papers and materials securely.
  • Supervise students throughout the examination, ensuring proper conduct.
  • Maintain a quiet and focused environment during exams.
  • Report any incidents, irregularities, or breaches of exam rules to senior staff.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a calm, professional manner.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Ability to remain alert and observant for extended periods.
  • Previous experience in a school or exam setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
