- Shift: Monday to Thursday, 18:00pm till 06:00am - 46hrs per week.
- Full-Time, Permanent.
- Overtime available upon request.
- Salary: £14.50 up to £17p/h – Dependant on experience (This will be discussed upon interview).
We are recruiting for experienced Fabricator/Welders to join our client team in the ST3 area.
Our client specialises in manufacturing High quality commercial trailers for their prestigious blue chip customers.
What will you be doing?
- Working within the welding department, producing/manufacturing commercial trailer chassis and trailer framework.
- Fabricating & MIG welding stainless steel and other various steel materials up to 12mm thicknesses.
- Working from detailed engineering drawings to complete work to customers specifications.
- Working in a fast paced engineering environment, completing work to high quality standards.
- Meeting company expectations, hitting targets set out by management team.
- Using hand & air tools to complete other work in the production.
- Quality checking own work and resolving any issues that may have arisen.
- Working as part of a dedicated fabricating/welding team or working on your own.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Experience working in a Fabrication & Welding is a must (Minimum 3yrs experience fabricating/welding).
- Ability to ready, interpret and work from engineering drawings is a must.
- Experience using hand & air tools is essential.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and experience working in fast paced engineering environment.
- Must have a "can do & hardworking attitude".
