Job Description:
Our client is seeking CNC Operator to join their joinery company. The successful candidate will operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery to produce high-quality joinery bespoke products, ensuring precision, efficiency, and safety. This role is essential in delivering top-quality joinery products to meet client specifications and production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery for wood joinery production.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders to produce accurate components.
- Monitor machine operation during production, making adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize machine downtime.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of production and machine usage.
- Collaborate with the joinery team to ensure efficient workflow.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a joinery, woodworking, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of wood materials and joinery processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong safety awareness and compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Relevant vocational or technical training in CNC operation or woodworking.
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a joinery setting is highly desirable.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
