Are you passionate about workplace safety and ready to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to join a dynamic operations team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

This is your chance to step into a hands-on role where your work will directly influence safety, compliance, and culture on the shop floor.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Working closely with the Health & Safety Manager, you’ll take ownership of practical safety initiatives, including:

  • Investigating incidents and identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments

  • Supporting induction and safety training for staff and contractors

  • Coaching supervisors and managers on H&S best practices

  • Driving safety campaigns and continuous improvement projects

  • Deputising for the H&S Manager when required

What We’re Looking For:

  • NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent Level 4 qualification)

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting

  • IOSH Associate/Technical membership (or working towards it)

  • Solid understanding of safety systems, audits, and legislative compliance

  • Strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills

  • A meticulous approach and genuine commitment to keeping people safe
