Manufacturing Technician
Location: Loughborough
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (37.5 hours per week, 30-minute unpaid break)
Pay Rate: 12.65 per hour
Contract: Until 31 December 2025 - Potential to extend.
Start Date: ASAP
Overview:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our client in Loughborough. The role involves inspecting, assembling, and packaging laboratory consumables in line with defined specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate packaging and labelling equipment
- Print labels using approved software
- Complete all required production and quality documentation
- Support quality control checks and in-process inspections
- Perform calibration and maintenance on labelling equipment
- Input batch records and downtime data
- Cross-train and assist other departments as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year's experience in manufacturing, production, or a lab environment
- Good communication and IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Team player with the ability to prioritise tasks
