The Recruitment Group is looking for an Instrument Lifecycle Co-ordinator supporting the Instrument Lifecycle Management team for our Client based in Loughborough.  The role of the Instrument Lifecycle Co-ordinator is a long-term role and is paying £14.49 per hour for 37.5 hours per week.

 

Pay for the Instrument Lifecycle Co-ordinator

  • £14.49 per hour

 

Shifts:

  • 37.5 full time hours per week – (flex start time between 7am - 10am and finish between 3pm and 6pm).

 

Location:

  • Loughborough

 

Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Equipment Management

  • Support the lifecycle of laboratory equipment qualification by assisting in planning, execution, and completion activities in compliance with GxP standards.
  • Assisting in equipment procurement, delivery, and installation to help meet project timelines.
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of qualification activities, working with internal teams, external service providers, and suppliers to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Provide support in preparing, reviewing, and finalising qualification documentation, including protocols, reports, and related records, in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Support ongoing calibration and maintenance activities within the department to maintain equipment reliability and compliance.

This role requires building strong working relationships with:

  • Analytical and Development Services colleagues and laboratory end users
  • Validation personnel across the organisation
  • Business leaders across the global organisation
  • External partners, vendors, and auditors

 

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a pharmaceutical GxP environment, including involvement in qualification and calibration activities.
  • Familiarity with applications such as Chromatography Data Systems (e.g., Empower), and Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN).
  • Familiarity with analytical equipment including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC).
  • Bachelor’s degree in analytical sciences or a related field.

 

Excellent interpersonal, organisational, good attention to detail and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
