Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Shepshed, LE12 (Close to Loughborough)
Start Date: August 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (Term-Time Only)
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
Daily Rate: 90-100 per day
Progression: Long Term to Permanent + Teacher Training Pathway after 12 months

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting children aged 4-16 with SEMH needs in and out of class
  • Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions under teacher guidance
  • Assisting with lessons and helping students to engage positively
  • Applying your knowledge of behaviour, motivation or physical activity
  • Building relationships and being a positive role model for students

Who We're Looking For

  • A graduate in Psychology, Sport, or any related field
  • Energetic, resilient and empathetic - especially great for sporty, active personalities
  • Committed to full-time school hours from August 2025
  • A natural with children and young people - no school experience needed
  • Willing to apply for (or already have) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
