Some HR roles are all about policies and paperwork.

This one isn’t.

This is a hands-on HR Advisor role in a fast-moving manufacturing business — the kind of place where things happen quickly and people speak their minds, you’ll need to be confident enough to deal with it.

You’ll be supporting managers across operations with everything from employee relations and absence management to onboarding, engagement, and general HR guidance. It’s a busy, practical role where you’ll spend as much time on the shop floor as you do at your desk.

What you’ll be doing
  • Providing day-to-day HR support to managers and employees

  • Handling ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management

  • Advising on policies, procedures, and employment law

  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding

  • Getting involved in projects that improve processes and culture

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Officer role

  • A solid understanding of UK employment law

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment (manufacturing, logistics, or similar)

  • Strong communication and influencing skills

  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards it) preferred

What’s on offer
  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • Genuine variety and responsibility

  • Supportive leadership and a down-to-earth culture

  • The chance to make a visible impact in a growing business

If you prefer getting things done over endless meetings, and like being close to the action, this could be a great next move.
