We are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Loughborough with the appointment of a Shift Engineering Team Leader.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for leading a small team of engineers to ensure plant performance, reliability, and safety. You will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineers within the maintenance team
- Deliver preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise output
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems
- Drive improvements in OEE through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and compliance across site
What We're Looking For
- Time-served mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (minimum Level 3)
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
- Experience within industrial/manufacturing plant maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and performance
