Cover Supervisor – Leicester & Loughborough
Day-to-Day & Long-Term Opportunities | £90–£120 per day

GSL Education are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Leicester and Loughborough, many of which are rated ‘Good’ and recognised for their supportive and inclusive environments. These roles offer flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities, with the potential for ongoing or temp-to-perm placements for the right candidates.

This is an excellent opportunity for confident and adaptable individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience, including graduates or those considering a future career in teaching. Roles are available to start ASAP, depending on school needs.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a positive and safe learning environment across KS3 and KS4.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with young people in a school or similar setting

• Be confident, reliable, and adaptable in the classroom

• Demonstrate effective behaviour management and communication skills

• Be passionate about supporting student engagement and progress

• Hold a clear DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
