We are currently recruiting for an experienced Linisher | Fettler to work for our client based in Loughborough on a temporary to permanent and full-time basis.
Salary: 13.60 - 13.85 depending on experience
Hours: 6am - 2pm | 2pm - 10pm rotating shifts
About the role:
Working towards production targets.
Ensuring that all products are manufactured to customer specification.
Operating the linishing machinery to finish metal components to a high standard
Prepare surfaces using sanding belts and polishing wheels
Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy and consistency
Work with stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel components
Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe and organised workspace
Accurately completing all relevant documentation in a timely manner.
Responsible for all personal equipment, gauges and tooling ensuring that they are kept in good condition and accounted for.
About you:
Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Good standard of verbal and written English
Good standard of numeracy skills
Extensive experience of linishing/fettling
Must be able to read engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work.
Confident working with power tools and machinery safely
