My local authority client in the East Midlands is looking to source an experienced Town Planning Policy Manager or Leader, to Manage the Town Planning Policy Team.
 
The Council is finalising its new local plan; a plan that sets out a challenging agenda for growth involving sustainable urban extensions, an Enterprise Zone, regeneration areas and a significant level of new housing and employment to meet the needs well into 2030's.
 
The council is preparing a community Infrastructure Levy, a raft of supplementary Planning Documents and a Design Code.
 
It is an exciting time to join and to make a positive contribution to the implementation of growth and the projects we are involved with.
 
There is also the opportunity to get involved in strategic planning as part of the delivery of the County Growth Plan and participate in the wider planning team.
