We are a specialist day school for children across KS2, KS3 and KS4, all of whom have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Many of our students also have additional SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
Our approach is therapeutic, trauma-informed, and child-centred. Every member of staff receives extensive training and support to help create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.
? The Role:We believe in teaching the child first, and the subject second. That means:
- Building strong, trusting relationships with students.
- Creating engaging, flexible lessons that meet learners where they are.
- Supporting students to achieve meaningful qualifications that open doors for their future.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes therapists, families, and local authorities.
- A qualified teacher with Primary experience and the ability (or willingness) to teach Maths and/or English to GCSE.
- Someone who is empathetic, adaptable, and resilient.
- A commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed practice.
- A belief in the potential of every child, no matter their starting point.
- A supportive, close-knit team that values your voice and well-being.
- Ongoing professional development, including therapeutic training.
- The chance to make a real difference in the lives of children who need it most.
