Overview of the role
Lead the responsive repairs team, maximizing the productivity of in-house labour, andmanage external contractors to deliver a high-quality repairs service.Lead the Business Support Team to support delivery of a high-quality repairs and voidsservice.
Responsibilities and Duties
路 Work closely with colleagues across the Council including those in voids, tenancymanagement, and the wider repairs and investment team, monitoring all repairs, fromidentification to completion.
路 Manage disrepair claims and customer complaints.
路 Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance and implement agreedinitiatives to support the fast and efficient progression and completion of repairs.
路 Deliver a high quality and safe repairs service, achieving compliance with regulatory andlocally set standards and a high level of customer satisfaction.
路 Produce and analyse management and performance information, and customer insight toidentify and deliver improvements.
路 Lead meetings, and support effective communication between internal departments,colleagues, and contractors, to support the fast and efficient progression and completionof repairs.
路 Provide cover in the absence of the Principal Officer - Voids.
