Our client is a respected name in the construction industry, delivering high-quality projects with a focus on safety, compliance, and excellence. They are currently seeking a proactive and detail-driven Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Candidates with fire protection or fire safety experience will be at an advantage, though this is not essential.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and valuations

  • Measuring and estimating works, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements

  • Managing subcontractor accounts, payments, and variations

  • Assisting with tender preparation and contract negotiations

  • Preparing reports and providing cost advice to support decision-making

  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification



Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction

  • Strong knowledge of cost control, estimating, and contract administration

  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills

  • Fire protection/fire safety experience is highly advantageous

  • Strong communication and organisational abilities

  • Proficiency with relevant software (e.g. Excel, estimating tools)
