A leading environmental services company is seeking a Senior Site Chemist to join their team. Working closely with the Assistant Site Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, ensure full site compliance, and support the development and training of site chemists.

This is a varied and rewarding role where your technical knowledge, leadership skills, and commitment to high standards will make a real impact on efficiency, compliance, and safety performance.

Duties include:

  • Ensuring full compliance with the site permit, waste acceptance criteria, and HSE segregation guidelines.

  • Supervising waste reception, bulking, and transfer operations in line with regulatory and company standards.

  • Overseeing and developing chemists, providing training and work rotation across all waste handling processes.

  • Managing packaged waste, including stock rotation, bay management, and compliance monitoring.

What you’ll need:

  • Degree or HNC in Chemistry or a related discipline (preferred)

  • Strong experience in hazardous or waste transfer site operations

  • Excellent knowledge of HSE and environmental compliance requirements
