We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Administrator to join a busy service department, supporting commercial activities, and ensuring smooth handling of customer enquiries, order processing, and project coordination.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment and has experience supporting projects from quotation through to delivery and invoicing.

Description of the role:

  • Process customer enquiries and orders for spares and services, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate and maintain all project documentation, including tenders, work orders, and invoicing details.
  • Support project delivery, tracking progress, costs, and contract requirements.
  • Maintain accurate customer and project records using internal CRM systems.
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams to ensure effective project management and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with cash collection, ensuring payments are received within contractual timeframes.
  • Respond to customer queries and maintain excellent levels of service and satisfaction.
  • Identify and manage changes to project requirements, ensuring minimal impact on costs and timelines.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative, commercial, or customer service role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly computer literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project).
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
