Are you ready to join a dedicated team in a beautiful new Short Breaks home in Loughborough, supporting children and young people aged 8-18 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and challenging behaviour?

Do you want to play a vital role in helping service users enjoy new experiences, establish friendships, and develop their confidence, independence, and social/emotional skills?

As a successful candidate, will you:
1. Build trust and develop nurturing relationships to promote the independence, wellbeing, strengths, and capabilities of the service users?
2. Work in partnership and build relationships with parents/carers and other professionals?
3. Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking and cleaning?
4. Accurately document information and ensure records are kept up to date?
5. Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures?
6. Promote, monitor, and maintain a safe environment at all times?

Do you have the Desirable Experience to:
1. Hold the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare/ Health & Social Careor be willing to achieve this within the required timeframe?
2. Be motivated by the chance to make a positive difference in young people's lives, creating a safe space and building resilience?
3. Demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding and protection of vulnerable children and young people?
4. Show flexibility to commit to sleep-ins and shift work, including weekends
5. Have relevant experience working with children and young people, although this is not essential with the right attitude and willingness to learn?
6. Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with service users and colleagues?
