We are seeking a skilled and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team, working with children in Reception to Year 1 based in Loughborough. We are working with a welcoming primary school in Loughborough, committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students. The school believes in fostering a love of learning and ensuring every child reaches their full potential, regardless of their individual challenges.Key Responsibilities:* Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching to children with Special Educational Needs.* Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support each child's learning and development.* Collaborate with parents, staff, and external professionals to promote inclusive practices.* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.* Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages confidence and independence.Requirements:* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a focus on Special Educational Needs.* Solid experience working with children in primary education, particularly in Reception and Year 1.* Strong understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and relevant teaching strategies.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.* A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine passion for helping children with additional needs thrive.What We Offer:* Competitive salary based on experience.* Long-term contract with the option of extending or "as and when"* Developing social and cognitive development* Opportunity to work in a school with a strong community presence* Willing to undertake a DBS through Aspire People or be on the update service* Unlock up to £250 referral fee for each recommendation to Aspire PeopleIf you are enthusiastic about creating an inclusive and enriching educational experience for children with special educational needs, we would love to hear from you!Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
