I'm looking for an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist (band 7) to work with a specialist Mental Health and Rehabilitation Unit in Loughborough.
Look for someone with advanced clinical skills in both speech and language therapy and dysphagia management, and a commitment to service development and staff training.
You will;
Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for service users with complex needs across inpatient settings and within the community, including home visits.
Design, implement, and review both individual and group interventions, with expertise in advanced dysphagia management.
Take a lead role within your specialist field, offering expert guidance and support to colleagues, other health professionals, and carers.
Supervise, mentor, and assess the practice of junior speech and language therapists, therapy assistants, and students.
