The role of Test Engineer
They are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a qualified electrician with strong industrial experience who is ready to apply their technical expertise to testing, fault finding, and inspection. This is a hybrid role, involving both site and office work. This is a travelling role, visiting several sites in England and Wales, so a full drivers license and the ability to travel is essential.Â

Key Responsibilities of the Test Engineer:
- Conduct electrical testing, inspection, and verification in line with current regulations and company procedures.
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial electrical systems.
- Prepare and maintain accurate test records and documentation.
- Ensure all equipment and systems meet required safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements of the Test Engineer:
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualified.
- Proven experience of working in an industrial environment or heavy industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Competent in using testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
