Hays is currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Plumber to join a reputable team in Loughborough on a temporary basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to contribute to a range of plumbing and maintenance tasks in a dynamic working environment.
Job Title: Plumber
Location: Loughborough
Start Date: 13th October 2025
Job Type: Temporary (3 months) or Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00
Pay Rate: Up to 22 per hour
Payment Terms: PAYE or Umbrella only (CIS not accepted)
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role, supported by references
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out reactive and planned plumbing works across the site
- Perform routine building maintenance and preventive plumbing tasks
- Address issues such as leaks, burst pipes, and general bathroom/kitchen repairs
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations
