Job Title: Welder Fabricator
Location: Loughborough
Shift: 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 12.30pm Friday
Or: 7.45pm to 6.00am Monday to Thursday
Pay Rate: 16.50 to 21.95 per hour (depending on shift)

The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder Fabricator to join either the day shift or night-shift team. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, performing MIG welding and fabricating structural components. This is a permanent position with a competitive hourly rate and a strong benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Perform MIG welding and fabricate structural components
  • Utilise hand tools and machinery to cut, bend and assemble metal components
  • Perform quality control checks
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute fabrication projects
  • Operate welding equipment and machinery to fabricate components
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, diversity and inclusion
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace

About You

  • Apprentice trained or proven experience as a Fabricator Welder
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Able to operate a variety of hand tools and welding equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Valid certification in welding techniques is an advantage
