I am working alongsidean exceptionally well-established financial loans company. After a very successful last decade, the business is continuously expanding. This Debt Collections Agent role involves contacting customers in arrears, understanding their circumstances, and supporting them with empathy and appropriate solutions.Responsibilities of Debt Collections Agent:
- Engage with customers via phone, email, LiveChat, and SMS regarding missed payments.
- Assess individual situations to provide appropriate support and repayment plans.
- Record and use customer information to improve interactions and outcomes.
- Offer guidance on free debt advice and financial support resources.
- Identify vulnerable customers and ensure they receive the right assistance.
- Ensure communication is clear, tailored, and easy to understand.
- Meet individual and team targets.
- Comply with all regulatory and internal policies, including those related to forbearance, vulnerability, and data protection.
Requirements:
- GCSE or equivalent (grade C or above)
- Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
- Committed to treating customers fairly and acting with integrity
- Familiarity with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty principles
