The successful Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / UPS Engineer shall be field based responsible for maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting and commissioning uninterruptible power supply (UPS systems) to ensure their reliable operation and to provide technical guidance on power requirements and UPS solutions at industrial sites and data centres across Southern UK including London.
The Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / UPS Engineer will possess expertise in technical electrical engineering products, including power controls, electrical distribution, power electronics, capacitors, rectifiers, three-phase voltage, generators, UPS systems, critical power supplies, battery systems, AC/DC systems, or equivalent. Full product training provided.
Candidates with an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Electrical Engineering, City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), and/or EAL Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation are particularly encouraged to apply as long term progression opportunities are available.

- Conduct preventative maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and commissioning of UPS system and associated products including battery systems, power electronics, and critical power equipment.
- Install, repair, and service uninterruptablepower systems at various commercial and industrial sites and data centres across Southern UK including London.
- Perform preventative maintenance on existing UPS installations.
- Perform routine service and repairs on UPS systems, including component replacements and system reconfigurations as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their power requirements, provide technical guidance, and recommend appropriate UPS solution.
- Liaise with different engineering departments.
- Prior experience as a Service Engineer, Electrical Engineer, UPS Engineer, Generator Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, or similar within electrical engineering.
- Technical Proficiency in electrical and electronic engineering principles, including a strong understanding of power electronics, three-phase voltage systems, battery management, and related components.
- Flexibility for overtime and participation in on-call rotation.

- Recognised electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Electrical Engineering, City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), City & Guilds 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing), EAL Level 3 Diploma in
- Electrical Installation, BTEC, HNC/HND, or equivalent are required.
- UK driving license and willingness to cover regions across Southern UK, including London.
