Assistant Merchandiser
Location: Loughton, Essex
Salary: 33000 - 35000
Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm

Are you a detail-driven, analytically minded professional with a passion for fashion and product performance? We're looking for a dynamic Assistant Merchandiser to join our client's growing team and play a pivotal role in driving sales, optimising stock, and supporting their merchandising strategy.
As an Assistant Merchandiser, you'll be the backbone of merchandising operations, supporting the Merchandiser and MAA to ensure products are in the right place, at the right time, and performing at their best. You'll dive into data, manage stock flows, and collaborate across departments to help hit KPIs and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver insightful weekly trade reports and category performance analysis.
- Support seasonal planning, sign offs, and ad hoc reporting.
- Monitor stock performance, sell-through rates, and markdown opportunities.
- Track customer feedback, competitor activity, and returns to inform product decisions.
- Analyse size ratios and support KPI achievement across the department.
- Maintain the critical path and ensure timely product launches across channels.
- Liaise with 3PL partners to manage deliveries, shortages, and returns.
- Collaborate with teams to manage inventory levels and optimise stock flow.
- Oversee PO accuracy, pricing, barcodes, and SKU management.
- Ensure all product data is accurate and up to date in internal systems.
- Support the implementation of our new PLM system and maintain supplier relationships.
You will have:
- Experience in fashion merchandising with strong stock and sales analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, Shopify knowledge is a plus.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organised.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
