Finance Manager

You'll start on a strong package of up to £52,000 depending on experience, plus significantly enhanced Pension Scheme, 23 days holiday rising to 27. I also saved the best till last the added perk of a nine-day fortnight. That means every other Friday off for you.

As the Finance Manager, you'll play a central role in the smooth running of the organisation's finances. You'll oversee management accounts, lead on budgeting and variance analysis, and manage the year-end and audit process. You'll also handle VAT, supplier applications, reconciliations, and financial controls ensuring the numbers stack up and decisions are backed by insight.

This isn't just a technical role though. You'll deputise for the Financial Controller, guiding and supporting the team, and occasionally stepping into the hot seat. You'll work closely with senior leaders, influence financial strategy, and provide clarity on the numbers that drive operational decisions.

To be considered, you'll ideally need to be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with solid all-round experience across financial and management accounting. Strong systems knowledge is important ideally Sage 200 and Excel along with the ability to analyse, explain, and present financial information clearly. Previous experience of rating or project accounting would be handy, but it's not a dealbreaker.
