GSL Education are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Louth, starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a subject that sparks curiosity, encourages critical thinking, and shapes future paths.

As a Psychology Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons to Key Stage 4 and 5 students, helping them to understand core psychological theories, research methods, and real-world applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Psychology lessons.
  • Teach students in accordance with the curriculum and exam board specifications.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and intervention as needed.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and school activities.
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour and academic standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in Psychology or a closely related subject.
  • Experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for the subject and a commitment to student success.
  • A full CV that covers the last 10 years (or your entire work history) with any gaps explained.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
