Job Title: Psychology Teacher
Location: Louth
Salary: £31,650 – 49,084 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Louth, starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a subject that sparks curiosity, encourages critical thinking, and shapes future paths.
As a Psychology Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons to Key Stage 4 and 5 students, helping them to understand core psychological theories, research methods, and real-world applications.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Psychology lessons.
- Teach students in accordance with the curriculum and exam board specifications.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and intervention as needed.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and school activities.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and academic standards.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Specialism in Psychology or a closely related subject.
- Experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for the subject and a commitment to student success.
- A full CV that covers the last 10 years (or your entire work history) with any gaps explained.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
