Are you a Software Controls Engineer looking to join a fast growing business that prides themselves on excellence and quality?

This company are Manufacturing and Automation leaders within the UK. They have a fantastic reputation from both employees and customer perspectives and now need another Software Controls Engineer to join the team.

In this role, you will program control systems using PLCs, servo drives, and robots, as well as troubleshoot mechanical and electrical control equipment. You will be responsible for modifying systems to enhance performance, performing tests to understand mechanism limitations, and ensuring all modifications are correctly documented.

The ideal candidate will be experienced programming PLC's, HMI's using different software's and have proven experience working on electrical, pneumatic or mechanical projects within the automation industry as well as understanding technical diagrams and drawings.

The Role:

  • Program control systems using PLCs, servo drives, and robots.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical control equipment.
  • Modify systems to enhance performance.
  • Perform tests to understand mechanism limitations.
  • Ensure all modifications are correctly documented.

The Person:

  • Experienced in programming PLCs and HMIs using various software.
