An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Finance Manager to join a global business on an 12-18 month fixed-term contract initially to cover maternity leave. This role plays a key part in supporting the European operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and strong internal controls, while working closely with international teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial statements, delivering timely and accurate monthly reporting, and supporting the budgeting and forecasting cycle. You'll also oversee operational finance functions including invoicing, credit control, and reconciliations, and act as a key point of contact for the year-end audit process.

Working closely with a regional finance head and colleagues in a shared service environment, you'll bring a proactive, hands-on approach and a strong commercial mindset.

Key requirements:

  • A recognised professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Proven experience in a mid-level finance role within a fast-paced environment
  • Solid Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, lookups)
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
  • Effective communicator, capable of working across departments and geographies
