Are you a compassionate, resilient tutor with a passion for transforming lives through education?

We are seeking dedicated 1:1 tutors to support learners who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. These young people often face significant challenges, and your role will be crucial in re-engaging them with learning, building trust, and helping them achieve personal and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, tailored sessions in English, Maths and/or other subjects

Plan engaging and differentiated learning activities based on individual needs

Build positive, trusting relationships with learners who may have experienced trauma or disrupted education

Provide regular feedback and progress reports to families, schools, and other professionals

Work flexibly, delivering sessions in learners' homes, local community venues, or online

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with young people facing barriers to education (e.g. SEND, SEMH, exclusions)

Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport quickly

Understanding of trauma-informed approaches and safeguarding

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience preferred
