Job Title: Electrical Fitter

Location: Ludgershall, Wiltshire/Hampshire, UK

Type: Full-Time

Role Purpose:

We are looking for a committed and engaged Electrical Technician to join our expanding team.

The role involves installing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems on heavy trailers in line with specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Install wiring looms, lighting systems, beacons, and electrical controls on trailers

Fit batteries, junction boxes, relays, sensors, and sockets

Work from wiring diagrams and technical drawings

Test all circuits and electrical components before handover

Troubleshoot, fix and repair electrical faults and wiring

Ensure work complies with IVA standards and road safety regulations

Maintain a clean and safe workspace

Collaborate with other departments (e.g., pneumatic, hydraulic) during the build process

Work safely and complete site-specific risk assessments prior to starting work.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Experience fitting or wiring vehicle or trailer electrics

Ability to read and work from wiring diagrams

Familiar with 12V and 24V systems

Basic fault-finding and diagnostic ability

Use of crimping tools, soldering, and multi-meters

Understanding of health and safety practices.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 39/40 hours per week
