Senior Financial Accountant - 3-Month Contract

Day Rate: £425-£475 | Outside IR35Location: Luton (2 days/week) + Optional 1 day in Kings CrossStart Date: By Monday 19th May latest

Found-U is working exclusively with a well-established eCommerce business based in Luton to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant for an urgent 3-month assignment.

This role is all about stepping in at a critical time supporting the finance team through the final stages of their group and subsidiary audit, ensuring month-end runs smoothly, and making sure Netsuite is operating cleanly from a controls, VAT, and reporting standpoint.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Support the final stages of group and subsidiary audit, ensuring sign-off is delivered
Own and deliver month-end close, reviewing front-end accounts and preparing high-quality financial information
Act as a key point of contact for auditors and internal teams, particularly around statutory accounts, tax exposure, and audit sampling
Lead on Netsuite-related processes, including VAT return accuracy, systems control reviews, and financial integrity checks
Liaise with senior stakeholders including the Group Financial Controller and Head of Finance

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-4 years post-qualified experience
Must have recent Netsuite experience - non-negotiable
Background in audit, statutory accounting, and hands-on finance delivery
Able to step into a high-performing team and add immediate value with minimal hand-holding
Proactive, solutions-led mindset - able to "get things done" under time pressure

Working Setup:

Hybrid working: Minimum 1 day per week in the Luton office, ideally 2
Optional additional working day from a King’s Cross office
Remote/flexible working considered for the right person
Immediate start preferred, no later than Monday 19th May
