Overview:

The client is a leading MRO contractor, who supports an array of commercial and third party maintenance companies within the Aviation industry.

The Shift Leader (who is still a certifying engineer) manages the day-to-day operational activities for their Line Maintenance shift, covering administrative, workload management, booking control and production planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain awareness and adherence to Health & Safety.
  • Manage all shift activities and responsibilities ensuring efficient use of manpower.
  • Monitor work requests covering tooling, manpower and downtime.
  • Aid the continued airworthiness of Customer Aircraft.
  • Responsible for stakeholder engagement and ensure relationships are maintained.
  • Review work requests, ensure spares have been identified/received and placed on Pre-load.
  • Aid on-time performance targets.
  • Ensure all relevant Station, EASA and CAA regulations are met.
  • To ensure all relevant staff on their shift are aware of all H & S obligations and responsibilities.
  • Ensure staffing levels and skills are sufficient to fulfil shift requirements
  • To ensure a good relationship is established and maintained between all line stations and interfacing departments
  • To aid the Customer Airlines on-time performance record.

  • Staff Temp Monitoring Form

Must Have:

UK CAA License with A320 Type Rating
