We are working with a well-established Luton based manufacturing organisation who are looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team.

This role is office based, and the working hours are Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.00pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

Working within the Customer Service team you will be responsible for providing customer service and administration support within the team.

Daily Responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with customer enquiries and processing quotes and customer orders.
  • Communicating with customers via email and telephone.
  • Making sure that all customer queries are dealt with promptly
  • Working along side the Business Development Managers arranging customer meetings.
  • Calling customers to arrange meetings for the Business Development Managers
  • Providing administrative support and follow up information.
  • Using Microsoft Word, Outlook and an CRM system.
  • Create quotes using the company CRM system - Microsoft Dynamics
  • Occasionally spending time out with customers accompanying the Business Development Manager.
  • Attend company training events

Person Specification:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Supportive team player
  • Good level of IT proficiency.
  • Highly organised with a good attention to detail.
  • Be enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to develop new skills.
