The successful Area Sales Manager / Area Sales Engineer will be covering Greater London, Southeast England, East Midlands and the Central South. Major towns and cities include; London, Reading, Oxford. Brighton, Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Milton Keynes, Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich, Norwich, Cambridge, Luton, Leicester, and Northampton.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Area Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales across the territory, identifying new opportunities and managing the sales pipeline whilst developing long-term customer relationships.
A technical sales / engineering sales background is essential, ideally from engineering equipment / capital equipment / machinery / materials handling, automated equipment etc.

Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and revenue within the territory, identifying new opportunities and managing the sales pipeline.
- Build strong long-term customer relationships
- Delivering product presentations and tailored solutions to potential new customers
- Selling capital equipment / machinery, materials handling and automated handling equipment
- Frequent travel amongst the region to London, Reading, Oxford, Brighton, Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Milton Keynes, Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich, Norwich, Cambridge, Luton, Leicester, and Northampton.
- Proven technical sales ability, including B2B sales, selling capital equipment / machinery, materials handling and automated handling equipment
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Southeast England, East Midlands, Greater London and the Central South
- Engineering Qualification is preferred
