Accounts/Customer Service Assistant, Luton, c28,000, 100% office based
Abacus Consulting are delighted to be working again with a long standing client. They are based at Basepoint Business Centre in Luton
They are a well established business with a support office in Luton with a sales team based in multiple locations
The role is a mix of accounts and customer services/administration, duties will include
- Processing orders, including picking and getting items ready for dispatch
- Following up to ensure items have been received at the correct location
- Maintaining relationships with customers
- Dealing with queries
- Chasing customers for payment
- Cash allocation
- Reconciliations
- Support colleagues as and when needed
The role is aimed at candidates who have some basic accounts experience (credit control/billing/sales ledger/purchase ledger) Experience in import/export or logistics would be useful. Must have a flexible can do attitude, confident Excel and IT skills and have customer facing experience
This is a permanent, full time role. 100% office based. Dog friendly business centre/office. Onsite parking. Easily accessible on public transport.
