Senior React & Sitecore Developer

?? What is the project about?

We're embarking on an exciting digital transformation initiative focused on enhancing the customer experience through the development of a brand-new Weather App module. This module will deliver real-time, destination-specific weather insights to holidaymakers, while also supporting rapid experimentation and validation of new product ideas through proof-of-concepts (POCs).

?? What will I be doing?

As a Senior React Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in the end-to-end delivery of this greenfield app. You'll:

  • Lead the selection and implementation of a modern React-based technology stack.

  • Familiar/experienced with Sitecore Headless/Edge/JSS
  • Build the MVP of the Weather App from the ground up.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering leads to shape architecture and best practices.

  • Define and implement QA, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.

  • Deliver frequent demos to stakeholders, capturing feedback and addressing blockers.

  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including deployment notes and handover materials.

?? What do you need from me?

We're looking for someone with:

  • Deep expertise in React.js and front-end component development.

  • Familiar with Sitecore JSS or headless Sitecore implementations.
  • Proven experience integrating APIs and working across the full SDLC.

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (unit, integration, E2E), and QA strategy.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, risk management, and collaboration.

  • Experience working in agile environments and presenting product demos to stakeholders.

  • Solid grasp of accessibility guidelines and industry coding standards.

  • Excellent documentation skills to ensure smooth handover to internal teams.
