Quantum Scholars are working closely with a highly regarded secondary school in Luton that is currently seeking an experienced Design and Technology Teacher to join their dynamic school in September 2025. This will be a full-time, permanent position.

The school hiring are based in Luton which is a large town located in Bedfordshire. They are a mixed comprehensive secondary school. They are rated as a "Good" school by Ofsted. They're a school with a vibrancy and passion for everyone to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality and engaging Design and Technology lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

  • Develop and implement creative and innovative teaching methods to engage students in the subject.

  • Support the delivery of the curriculum and ensure that lessons are aligned with the school's educational goals and standards.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.

  • Contribute to the development of the school's extra-curricular activities related to Design and Technology.

  • Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and participate in school-wide initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Design Technology teacher, ideally in a secondary school setting.

  • A strong understanding of the Design and Technology curriculum, with the ability to teach across a variety of topics and projects.

  • Passion for the subject and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Must be available for a September 2025!
