Design Technology Teacher
We are working with an Ofsted-rated good school whom are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design Technology Teacher to join permanently for the new academic year.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with expertise in Product Design and Resistant Materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Design Technology to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Develop and implement curriculum plans that meet educational standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and contribute to department initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification is essential.
- Proven experience in teaching Design Technology at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Expertise in Product Design and Resistant Materials is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
