Employment Solicitor – Leading Commercial Firm in LutonSalary: Up to £65,000 (DOE) | Flexible Working Considered | Excellent BenefitsI’m working in partnership with a well-established and commercially focused law firm, highly regarded for its pragmatic and business-savvy approach to employment law. Based in the firm’s Luton office, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join a growing and collaborative team.The Role:You’ll be joining a highly regarded Employment team, working alongside two Partners, a junior solicitor, and a trainee, offering advice to a varied client base across a broad spectrum of industries. The team is known for delivering straightforward, commercially-minded solutions for businesses both with and without internal HR support, as well as supporting senior employees in personal matters.This is a varied role where you’ll be involved in:
  • Providing day-to-day employment law advice (both contentious and non-contentious)
  • Representing clients in Employment Tribunal matters, including advocacy
  • Advising on TUPE, redundancy processes, business reorganisations, and employment terminations
  • Assisting with the employment aspects of corporate transactions (due diligence, warranties/indemnities, etc.)
  • Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements
  • Leading on business development initiatives including articles, webinars, and networking events
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and trainees
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in employment law
  • Strong experience across both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Ideally, exposure to corporate support/transactional employment work
  • Commercial acumen and ability to deliver practical, client-focused advice
  • Proven track record of meeting financial targets
  • Excellent communication, drafting and client relationship skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with a desire to progress
