Court hearings happen across the country and occasional office days are expected. If your idea of advocacy is avoiding trains, it will not suit.
What they want
Qualified Solicitor, three to ten years PQE, who knows their craft
• Specialist accreditation in Family or Children Law, not just “keen on it”
• Tangible experience in children matters and injunctions, not just exposure
• Confident advocate willing to stand their ground in hearings
• Familiar with legal aid processes, because they matter
• Supervisory experience welcomed, but they are not looking for a tyrant
