The ideal Respiratory Practice Nurse candidate will have:
- Current experience in COPD and/or Asthma patient reviews in primary care.
- At least 3 years of experience managing respiratory conditions.
- An interest in respiratory management and experience in spirometry.
- A full driving licence and current NMC registration.
- Desirable qualifications include COPD/Asthma diplomas and ARTP qualification.
As a Respiratory Practice Nurse, you'll be responsible for:
- Conducting patient audits and delivering specialist clinics.
- Providing mentorship and support to general practice staff.
- Ensuring care aligns with local and national guidelines.
- Working primarily in primary care settings.
- Contributing to the improvement of patient outcomes.
Package and Benefits:
The Respiratory Practice Nurse role comes with a comprehensive package:
- Salary: 38,000 - 43,000 depending on diplomas.
