An Excellent opportunity for a Quality Inspector from a manufacturing background to join a well established and industry leading company.

The company are a specialist manufacturer with a great reputation. They are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join the team. You will be responsible for performing inspection of products to ensure compliance with specified requirements at the receiving, in-progress and final stages of the process meeting quality and safety standards

This role would suit an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a new role which offers plenty of training and technical development.

The Role:

  • Inspection of incoming, in-process and final inspection of parts, conduct quality checks in accordance with company requirements and complete necessary documentation, identify non-conformances, raising CAPA's when required and make recommendations liaising with internal customers throughout the entire process. Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) when required such as Visual Inspection, Positive Material Identification (PMI), Hardness Testing and Dye Penetrant Testing.
  • Shift pattern - Week 1: Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 2:15pm, Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm. Week 2: 2:15pm - 10:30pm, Friday 12:00pm - 6:00pm

The Person:

  • Experienced Quality Inspector
  • Due to nature of company applicants must be UK Nationals
  • HND/HNC Engineering.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Advantageous but not essential experience - working with CMMs, positive material I dentification, Epicor, ISO/ASME/NORSOK/PED quality standards
