£55,000 - £60,000 + Progression + Training + Overtime

Are you a Workshop Manager, Operations Manager and/or similar from a Carpentry background, who can read and interpret 3D CAD drawings, looking for a role that grants them responsibility for the quality of work produced in the workshop?

Do you want to join a growing company, who can offer system training as well as career progression into commercial management?

Established over 25 years ago, this company have carved out a profitable niche by manufacturing bespoke shielding products for the healthcare sector. Due to an increase in demand, they are looking for a Workshop Manager to assist in the day-to-day operations of this busy workshop and ensure the high standards are maintained.

In this role, you will be looking after a busy workshop, managing production schedules and ensuring the day-to-day operations run on time. You'll be responsible for signing off 3D Drawings created on AutoCAD and SolidWorks. You'll also be helping out to manage stock and place orders, ensuring the production have everything they need to be successful.

This role would suit a Workshop, Production or Operations Manager with a joinery background, looking to join a company that offers progression into commercial roles and the responsibility to manage a busy workshop.

The Role:

  • Taking control of day-to-day production operations
  • Signing off 3D drawings
  • Managing warehouse stock
  • Maintaining workflow schedules
  • Monday to Friday 07:00-16:30

The Person:

  • Workshop, Production, Operations Manager or similar
  • Carpentry / Joinery background
  • Ability to read and interpret 3D CAD drawings
