Tradewind is currently working with a vibrant mainstream school in Luton, which is looking to appoint several Creative Teaching Assistants to start from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and play a key role in helping pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.

In this role, you'll be working predominantly with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them to access the curriculum in a way that suits their individual learning styles. Creativity, patience, and adaptability are essential as you'll be using engaging methods to support communication, understanding, and progress.

Our partner school are looking for TA's with a real passion for making a difference every single day. In return, they offer excellent support from an SLT team who value staff well-being.

What We're Looking For:

  • A creative approach to supporting children with SEND

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

  • Confidence in supporting children with ASD in a mainstream setting

  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices

  • Willingness to adapt and support various classes and year groups when needed
