Our partner school in Luton is going through a lot of positive changes as they join a new trust and focus on outcomes for students.

An inclusive special school for 11-19 year olds in the centre of Luton, they provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for young people with a wide range of education needs and disabilities

As a teacher this a unique and exciting opportunity to join a growing Trust and to help create an exceptional learning experience for learners within the school. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in all areas of the curriculum and provide personalised activities to meet the needs of the learners within your class.?

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment to nurture learners’ development. ?The aim is to provide learners with the best possible opportunities to succeed with future goals and aspirations in all areas of their life including social, emotional, physical and communication.? This school strive to ensure their learners reach their full potential to allow them to actively participate in the wider community and to prepare them for adult life. The post holder will be part of their teaching and learning function and play a large part in delivering a high-quality education to the learners who attend the school.

This role will require you to:

  • Teach students with various SEN Needs
  • To have a passion for and expertise in your subject area.
  • To plan and deliver lessons which consistently challenge students’ thinking and force them out of their comfort zone.
  • To be a reflective practitioner constantly striving to improve your practice.
  • To review and develop the curriculum.
  • To review and develop the Tracking Assessments.
