The company specialises in high-quality home delivery services across the UK, placing a strong emphasis on professionalism, reliability, and exceptional customer service throughout the delivery journey.The RoleThe Customer Service Advisor will play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s high standards of service by providing effective, friendly, and solution-focused support to customers. Working as part of a collaborative team, the successful candidate will manage inbound and outbound communications, resolve delivery queries, and ensure customer records are accurately maintained.Key Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email in a timely and professional manner
  • Make outbound calls to confirm delivery details and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Accurately update and maintain customer records using the in-house Transport Management System
  • Work closely with team members to meet performance targets and service level agreements
  • Maintain a consistent focus on delivering excellent customer service
Key Skills and Experience Required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for customer care
  • Good IT literacy, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Previous experience in a customer service or contact centre environment is advantageous but not essential
