About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactiveElectrical Design Engineerto join our clients dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects from design through to implementation, ensuring safety and professionalism at every stage. You will be involved in client interactions, site surveys, design development, and testing, making this a varied and engaging position.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys, installations, and commissioning across the UK and occasionally internationally.
- Gather requirements and develop innovative electrical design solutions.
- Produce and update electrical schematics usingAutoCAD(training provided if needed).
- Specify and createBOMs (Bill of Materials)to support procurement.
- DevelopPLC and HMI control softwareand assist in control panel testing/troubleshooting.
- Participate inFactory Acceptance Testing (FAT)andSite Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide on-site supervision and act as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality management policies.
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Office;AutoCADexperience is desirable (training available).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Flexible approach to work, including willingness to travel.
- Must be aBritish Citizen.
